Azathoth
Azathoth, the final creature in my Lovecraft series. The design was inspired by deep sea slugs. I ended up designing the "circle" at the center that is Azathoth at the same time as a globe and as a tunnel, depending on how you want to see it.

Eye detail
Tentacle detail. The light of the cosmic matter illuminates the translucent tentacles.
Eye detail. Each eye represents a fragment of the 4 dimensional world. The yellow eye symbolically represents the 5th dimension, one that is above our natural law of physics
Azathoths center. The round shape is both, a tunnel and a globe at the same time, as we can see tentacles emerging out of the black tunnel which immediately start encircling around the tunnel, thus creating the impression of a 3 dimensional globe
