Nyarlathotep

The crawling Chaos and Black Pharaoh - I tried to capture both those traits into this character portrait, while still maintaining the deep sea marine life aesthetics of translucency. As Nyarlathotep mentions in The Dream Quest of unknown Kadath, he has "a thousand other forms", so I thought it would be cool to actually show multiple creatures within one image, which are of course all Nyarlathotep's multiple incarnations. Each of the creatures holds a geometric shape, which are really just symbolic representatives of our multidimensional reality. Inspired by his pharaoh form, I implemented an alienized version of a crook and flail as well as an organic alien-like creature that resembles a Pschent crown.
