4th design in my Lovecraftian series, the Shoggoth. This one was a lot of fun, as it allowed me to totally get into almost abstract shapes and forms that didn't require a lot of physical accuracy, since this creature is literally just a blobb with countless eyes and mouths. As with all creatures in this project, stylistically, the images are heavily inspired by deep sea marine photography, so I imagined a Shoggoth kind of floating through the ether instead of being just a heavy, slimy and sluggish crawling mass. As a little easter egg, if the viewer tilts his head to the left, one can recognize a human face-like structure on the lower left part of the creature, as Shoggoths are known to imitate their surroundings, sometimes by sound, sometimes by appearance.
